TurboWin is a user-friendly system that provides over 200 built-in quality checks to verify observations before they are transmitted. It allows for automated compilation of observations on board ships and fixed sea stations, as well as downloading and transmission to a Meteorological Centre, via Inmarsat, E-mail, or other communication facilities. The program assists the observer with menus, pictures, photos, forms, help pages, output options, and automated calculations.
